The Betty Brinn Children’s Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that opened its doors on April 4, 1995, thanks to a grassroots effort begun by three Milwaukee women determined to create a place where families in southeastern Wisconsin could learn and play together.

A family favorite for generations, the Milwaukee County Zoo spans 190 acres and is home to over 2,000 animals representing more than 300 species. From African elephants to snow leopards, plus interactive exhibits and seasonal events, it’s a great day trip for kids and adults alike.

One of the oldest and tallest active lighthouses on the Great Lakes, Wind Point Lighthouse is a must-visit landmark in Racine County. Just 15 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee, Schlitz Audubon Nature Center is a peaceful escape on the shores of Lake Michigan. The 185-acre sanctuary offers six miles of hiking trails through forests, prairies, and wetlands. The center also hosts raptor shows, nature education for all ages, and a beautiful visitor center.

Erin Hills - no list would be complete without this amazing course that has hosted a US open, US Mid-Amateur, and will host the 2025 US Women's Open. An incredible experience and a must play for any golf lover
The Bull at Pinehurst Farms - Conveniently located near the picturesque towns of Sheboygan Falls and Kohler, just under an hour from Milwaukee, The Bull is not just one of the best courses in Wisconsin; it’s one of the best in the United States! The Bull offers a beautiful variety of risk reward holes that blend naturally with the wetlands, woodlands and rivers that fill the 400 acres and stamp it in your memory-bank for years to come.
The Bog - Don't miss an opportunity to play the beautifully designed Arnold Palmer course, just outside of Saukville! This picturesque course blends beautifully into the scenic rolling hills and charm of the Wisconsin countryside. The splendor and challenges of The Bog offer golfers an unforgettable golf experience.
Muskego Lakes - A great local, convinent course right in Muskego! Muskego Lakes Country Club pride themselves in having a well maintained and challenging course, exceptional service and an impeccable dining experience. They have 150+ acres hosting their beautiful course, clubhouse and banquet facility which can accommodate anywhere from 40 to 400 guests.
Milwaukee County Golf Courses - From championship style courses like Brown Deer Golf club (where Tiger Woods made his PGA tour debut in 1996) to beautiful par 3 courses right along the lake like Warnimont Park, there's something for everyone!
Brighton Dale Golf Course - head a bit further south to Kansasville, just next door to Richard Bong State Recreation Area, to find another beautifully maintained 45 hole golf course! Challenging yet approachable, this course is fun for all skill levels!
